- Pravasi Bharatiya Samman, the highest award instituted by the Government of India for overseas Indians. He received the award from President Pratibha Patil at the Pravasi Bahratiya Divas in Chennai on January 9, 2009.
- Media Pioneer Award from Bahrain's Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. The award was presented at a celebration organised by Bahrain Journalists Association at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, marking the World Press FreedomDay, on May 7, 2014.
- Community Leadership Award from India`s former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in Kingdom of Bahrain.
- NRI Visionary Award from Vision Foundation presented in Ahmedabad, at a ceremony held under the patronage of the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in Nov 2011.
